The Ericonian Coven

About
The Ericonian Coven, was founded in 2015, the original branch of the Sacred Circle which started as an online coven. The tradition the coven follows, is a tradition based off the same name, The Ericonian Tradition, named after its founder High Priest and Elected Witch King Eric Williams. Feel free to explore our website for more information.
Joining
If you are wanting to join our coven? Or becoming a wiccan in general, we do offer information as well as inspirational sermons that are wiccan based. Preaching is a lost pagan art and one that far too often other pagans forget that the art was originally ours until we were forced into the shadows after the crusades and the witch trials. We were teachers, healers, and preached the old ways. Don't forget that. Feel free to learn about our Coven and our Tradition.

Wicca In General.
Wicca In general: Wicca is considered a Neo-Pagan religious movement that started in the early part of the 1900s. In reality, the religion is far older and was simply renamed so that those practicing it, could better identify other followers. While Gerald Gardner gets a good bit of credit in bringing it to the forefront, there were several others who at the time were pushing to get Wicca back into the mainstream. Many Wiccans over the years, simply had grown tired of, as some say, hiding in the shadows, for if other religions are valid in the eyes of National laws, then so should ours.

Wicca is a religion that practices peace and following a law which basically states, harm none, and do what you will. To us, Harm none goes a long way. It is your deeds, your words, and yes, what spells you cast.

Wiccans are also, not always witches. A wiccan is a faith practitioner, while a witch, practices magick. To be a Wiccan, does not always mean that the Wiccan practices magickal arts.
